Micah Scott Tavares passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, in Saginaw, Texas.

Micah will always be remembered as a loving son, father, brother and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on November 16, 1977, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Michael David Tavares and Edna Mae Paulman-Tavares. He graduated with honors in Electronics Engineering from ITT Tech. He was employed at TDCJ, Radio Shack and Witron. He enjoyed vacationing, music, electronics, downhill skiing, good food, all things Notre Dame and especially his son, Michael David.

He will be remembered by his son, Michael David Tavares of Southlake, Texas; his mother, Edna Mae Paulman-Tavares of Saginaw, Texas; his sister, Michaele Solidad Mix and her husband, Jason, and their children, Ava and Connor of Jeffersonville, Indiana; his uncle and aunt, Dr. John and Audrey Diane Paulman-Street and their adult children and grandchildren, Ann Marie Street, John Franklin Street, Amanda Jane King, Allison Diane Street, Bailey Brook Street, Isabelle and Molly King of Columbus, Ohio; and numerous friends and associates.

Services will be held with a Mass at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton of Keller, Texas. Services can be seen on Facebook, Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial in Bourland Cemetery in Keller, Texas.
