FORT WORTH -- Michael Lee Ackleson, 57, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, from an automobile accident.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst.
Memorials: Are requested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Michael, the son of George and Thelma Craig Ackleson, was born Feb. 21, 1955, in Wichita Falls. He graduated from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, La. A former resident of Lake Charles, he moved to Fort Worth in 1989. Michael was a computer engineer for Lockheed Martin.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Chance Mills.
Survivors: His wife of 35 years, Diane; daughters, Stephanie Hightower and husband, Andy, and Jessica Mills; grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew, Sierra, Austin, Jaxson, Brayden and James; parents, Thelma and George Ackleson; and sister, Judy Vanderluit.
