Michael Ishmael

Mike Ishmael, 63, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, October 19, 2018 in Bedford, Texas. Mike was born February 12, 1955 in West Helena, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He began working at Bell Helicopter in 1985 where he met and married his wife, Nancy. He was nearing retirement after 33 years of dedicated service.

Mike had an interest in birds and was an avid bowler and traveled to league events. He was interested in sports and very successful in a fantasy football league. He enjoyed football and basketball, particularly the time he spent coaching his grandsons’ basketball teams.

First and foremost Mike was a family man. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter Brooke, her husband Paul and children Freeman, Farah and Coltrane; stepchildren Lee and Wendy; grandchildren Raymond and Sam and great-granddaughter Allica.
