Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to donate in Michael's name to a charity of your choice.
Michael was born on September 3, 1941 in Queens, New York. He was known for his willingness to lend a hand to those in need. Michael met the love of his life, Angela during the "summer of love" in 1969. They were wed two years later in New York.
Michael worked many years for American Airlines and upon retirement became a licensed massage therapist. He and the family loved travelling on road trips and especially enjoyed Las Vegas. Michael was dubbed a "foodie" and it was reflected in his passion for cooking for his family and beyond. He would often ask his family, "How is it?" and when they replied, "Delicious" he would then charge an arbitrary amount, "That'll be $27.95 please!" Michael also enjoyed photography and painting. He got a kick out of his resemblance to Albert Einstein and the inevitable looks he'd get when he fluffed out his hair. Michael will be forever missed.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Louise and Michael Losat.
Survivors: His loving wife, Angela; daughter, Christine; grandchildren, Nicholas and Sophianna; son-in-law, Dave; brothers, Frank and Vincent; sister, Marianne; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
