Michael McGill

Michael Wayne McGill, passed away on August 19, 2024 in Grapevine, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, brother, and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on September 22, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to William Franklin and Mae Foy McGill.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Donna, step sons Billy Jack, Joshua and Jeremiah; his brother Frank McGill and sister-in-law Joanne McGill; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his father William Franklin McGill; his mother Mae Foy McGill; and his sister Cheryl Kelley.

Mike was a skilled and intuitive drummer. He played in numerous bands throughout his career and most recently was a member of the Tuff Enough band out of Fort Worth, Texas. He loved playing his drums. He was also a spiritual man and loved reading and studying his bible. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on August 24th at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas. Chaplain Angela Niestemski will officiate.
