On Monday October 3, 2022 Micheal Roy Foster went home to live with our Father, God. He passed away in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 50. Micheal was born on July 11, 1972 in Phoenix, Arizona and lived most of his life in Tucson, Arizona.
He is survived by the love of his life Diana Lavandera of Euless, Texas; children, Matiana Andrea Foster, Anissa Victoria Foster, and David Alexander Foster all of Euless, Texas; father, Kenneth Foster of Tucson, Arizona; mother, Marsha Mosley of Tucson, Arizona; brother, Marklin Foster of Baltimore, MD; brother, Brandon Foster of Tucson, Arizona; and stepsister, Tammy Cotes of Kentucky; father and mother-in-law Manuel and Eva Lavandera; brother-in-law Manuel Lavandera, Norma, and sister-in-law Cecilia Lavandera, Christopher; “Beautiful”, Sharon Foster, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, care givers and extended family members.
He served our country in the United States Navy and was very proud of his service. He continued his life of service by having a career in hospitality. Michael loved to cook for his family especially on Saturday mornings where he would create a mini buffet of breakfast delights. When he was not cooking, he enjoyed watching the 49ER’s play and was a devoted fan.
He never met a stranger and was always a helping hand to everyone he knew. He greeted you with a smile and no one ever had to ask for his shirt, he would anticipate and just give it.
Now my dear Mike, go home, go jump, go run, go sing, go eat and when you see our Father, rejoice! We will meet again.
Committal Service with Navy Honors will be held at 11:15 A.M., Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. A Celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Cross City Church in Euless.
