Mickey Leon Reed was born February 9, 1938 in Era, TX to Charles Truman and Nova Lee Reed. Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Vondal, daughter Ronda Jo, parents Charles Truman and Nova Lee, brothers Jimmy, Milton and Roger. Mr. Reed is survived by daughters Sandra and husband Hayes, Phyllis and husband Rod, grandchildren Claire and Rand, sister Janice, brothers Truman and Dennis and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mickey was a loving father, husband and son. Mickey lived in Roanoke until about 10 years ago when he moved to Brock TX where he spent most of his time caring for his cows and horses and enjoyed attending sporting and school events with his precious grandchildren Claire and Rand. Mickey was part of the Church family at Windmill Church of Christ.
Arrangements for Mickey Reed – Visitation Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm and Funeral service Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2 pm - both at Lucas Funeral Home Grapevine. Burial will follow at Medlin Cemetery in Trophy Club.
