Mildred E. Meyer, 88, of Hurst passed away August 27, 2016 in Bedford.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Hurst with Visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will take place at Concan Cemetery in Uvalde County on Friday.
Mrs. Meyer was born October 13, 1927 to James and Vera (Everett) Dean. She married Erwin Clifford Meyer, was a mother and homemaker and volunteered at HEB Hospital in Bedford for 38 years. Mrs. Meyer enjoyed sports, especially football, and enjoyed playing bridge, dancing, bingo and doing anything spur of the moment.
Mrs. Meyer was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her sons L.C. (Becky) Meyer, Neil Meyer, and Brian (Kristin) Meyer, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
