Millie Frances Stuck

April 8, 1915 — September 19, 2019

Millie Stuck, 104, of Colleyville, Tx, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 19, 2019.
Millie was born in Goldthwaite, Texas on April 8, 1915 to the late Ira Phillip and Mary Etta (Harrison) Hutchings.
Millie was known as many things, including, Wife, Mother, Grandma, GiGi, friend, and most importantly, servant. She took whatever circumstance came her way and never let it stop her from what she wanted to do!
She brightened the day of every single person that she came in contact with. She gave of herself to others, sacrificed for others, and always, always thought about others before herself.
Millie was a true humanitarian, a true example to live by, and a precious gift from God! The way she carried herself reminds us of how the Bible talks of “God’s Will!”
Millie deeply loved her family and was not afraid to tell you all about the happenings of each and everyone’s life and how proud she was of everyone. Besides her love for family, she also loved gardening and to cook. While at Millie’s house, you were not going to go hungry. If you had eaten an hour before getting there....too bad, you were eating again. Her homemade rolls and pecan pies were legendary!! Everything that she did in her life was based on her love for Christ, and there wasn’t a day that went by where she did not minister to someone. Millie truly loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and she was always willing to share that love.
Millie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bill Stuck; three brothers, Nolan Hutchings, Herschel Hutchings, and James Hutchings, and daughter-in-law Candy Stuck.
Survivors are daughter and son in law, Willene and John Corder; son, Dean Stuck; sister in law, Evelyn Hutchings. Grandchildren are Teri Mumaw and her husband, Mike; David Corder and his wife Rajka; Jason Stuck and his wife Carmen. Great-Grandchildren are Rachel Mumaw, Dan Mumaw, Ainsley Stuck, Hailey Stuck, and Brooklyn Stuck. Millie was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family members.
