Minna L. Mayell, 101 of Fort Worth passed away May 20th in Keller.
Memorial Mass: Thursday, June 7th, 2:00 p.m. at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road, Houston.
Mrs. Mayell was born August 18, 1916 in East Ham, England to Ernest and Annie Warrington. She worked as the Clark for the City Council and took the official Council Meeting minutes each week. Mrs. Mayell loved reading, knitting, crocheting, gardening and crossword puzzles. Her greatest love was spending time with family.
Mrs. Mayell was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sydney William Mayell and sisters Nancy Warrington and Gladys Shimmel.
Mrs. Mayell is survived by her daughters Barbara Yelton and Sue (David) Williams; son Michael (Karen) Mayell; grandchildren Amy (Anthony) DeNome, John (Michaela) Williams, Scott Williams, Will (Brandy) Yelton, Andy ((Katy) Yelton, Allison (Eric) Ray, Renee (Ashley) Wineinger, Katy (Mat) Ellis, and Kirsten, Kelcy and Michael Mayell; great-grandchildren Baylee, Emma, Gabriella, Jack, Nora, Brooks, James, Logan, Luke, Lily, Kendall, Ellie and Oliver, and best friend Kate Chynoweth.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Saints Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, or KERA Public Broadcasting Television (PBS).
