Mitchell G. Pittman

Mitchell Pittman died unexpectedly on April 24, 2022. He was born on April 7, 1957 along with his twin sister, Michele. They were born in Brownwood, TX to Glen Pittman and Bettye Hermann Pittman.
Mitchell was a graduate of San Angelo State University. His degree was in business. He worked 35 years for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, retiring in June of 2021. Mitchell was a member of The Hills Church in North Richland Hills, TX, near his home in Colleyville, TX. He was a life long member of the Church of Christ.
Mitchell always had a funny story to tell, a song in his heart, and was devoted to his job. Mitchell was acclaimed for his speaking ability. He could make the driest banking regulations entertaining. He was admired by all who knew him. Mitchell was a small-town boy who never lost the values his parents instilled in him and never lost his country charm.
Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Bettye Pittman. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Barfoot Pittman, step-son, Nathan Lindenberg and wife Pamela, his grandchildren Jennifer and James, and three great grand-children Leighton, Ryleigh and Jackson, all of San Antonio and surrounding area. He is also survived by his sister, Maritia and husband, Alfred Keeling of Colleyville, TX, his twin sister, Michele and husband, James Willett of Grapevine, TX and four nieces and nephews, Shane Keeling, Courtney Atwood, Caroline Calhoon and Austin Stevens and numerous great nieces and nephews.
There will not be a service at this time; however, those who wish to remember Mitchell in a special way may make donations to M. D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in memory of Mitchell Pittman, 1515 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, TX 77030, gifts.mdanderson.org or make a donation to the charity of your choice.
