Mitchell George Posel Jr.

Mitchell George Posel, Jr., 42, of Plano, Texas, formerly of Keller, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on November 16, 2018.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Keller, Texas, on December 1, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. Immediately following the mass, Mitch will be interred at a columbarium behind the church, and a reception will follow in the parish hall.
Mitch was born January 21, 1976, in Irving, Texas. He grew up in Keller, TX, and enjoyed fishing in tournaments with his dad, and playing baseball and soccer as a child. He graduated from Keller High School in 1994 and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2000 with a B.A. in History. Mitch spent his professional career in logistics and transportation management. His favorite past times were bass fishing with his Dad, going catfish fishing on the family’s pond with his family, and playing disc golf. He loved to grill out and to garden with his son. He was most proud of his son, Mitchell III, who was his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell George Posel Sr.
Survivors are his wife of nine years, Jessica Posel of Plano, Texas; son, Mitchell George Posel III, of Plano, Texas; mother, Dorothy Posel of Mena, Arkansas; sister, Steffi Parkerson and husband Joe of Keller, Texas. Mitch is also survived by nieces Jolie and Bella Beviss, and Siena Parkerson, and nephew Jake Parkerson. In addition, Mitch is survived by many relatives and his favorite cousin, Mark Posel. Mitch was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all of his family members and many friends.
