Mona Marie Bozeman

Mona Marie Bozeman, age 78, born September 5, 1943 in Fort Worth Texas and passed away April 21, 2022 in Fort Worth Texas. She was born to Allah Kathryn and Ocie Cleo Meeks.

Mona was a member of Second Mile Church and was a long-time member of the Eastern Star. She was a huge fan of the Texas Rangers and The Cowboys. She had a quick wit and loved all types of animals. She graduated from Paschal High School in 1961.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Bozeman; parents, Allah and Ocie Meeks and sister, Sallye Mott.

Mona is survived by her sons, Kenny Rector and Joe Rector and his wife Kindal; daughter, Angie Schloffman and her husband, Reigh; sister-n-law, Sandra Belhumeur and her husband, Marc; grandchildren, Connor Schloffman, Collin Rector and his wife, Rachel, Morgan Schloffman and Ashland Rector and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends for a visitation from 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Chapel, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248. Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, Friday, April 29, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Chapel. Committal Service will be held at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mona to Shriners Hospital for Children , SPCA Animal Shelter or your charity of choice.
