Mona Marie Kuether

Mona Marie Kuether, 91, passed away January 11, 2021 at Crowley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crowley, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, January 25, 2021 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home in Burleson. A graveside service will be held at 11:15am, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Mona was born January 22, 1929 in Herington, Kansas to Don and Mercedes Kinney Michler. She grew up in Herington and graduated from Herington High School in 1949.
She married Fred Eugene Kuether in 1967 in Herington, Kansas and they were happily married for 30 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, enjoyed her dogs, reading and needlework.
Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Eugene Kuether.
Mona is survived by her children, Michael McCoy and Janet Taylor McCoy of Crowley, Texas and Michelle Grimes of Hutchinson, Kansas; sister, Naomi Snyder of Herington, Kansas; grandchildren, Kelly McCoy, Gannon McCoy, Anthony David, Stephanie Suppes and Sean David; great-grandchildren; Aidan Stuart, Ryan McCoy, Maddy Suppes, Kenzie Suppes, Lincoln Suppes, Cole David and Carinn David.
