Nancy Virginia Bradford

NANCY BRADFORD, 81, peacefully passed away at Meadowood Assisted Living and Memory Care in Grapevine, TX on June 12, 2023. Nancy devoted her life to her two children Randy (Francine) Bradford of Grapevine, TX and daughter Carrie Bradford Ward of Coeur d’Alene, ID.

Nancy was born on June 2, 1942, to Albert and Elizabeth Culver in Lampasas, TX. Nancy graduated from Lampasas High School in 1960 and attended two years of study at Southwest Texas State. After successfully raising her two children, she went to work as an administrative professional at FDIC and Countrywide Mortgage and she also worked as a Sales Associate for department stores like Lord & Taylor and Macys before retiring.

Nancy was a faithful servant and active volunteer of Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson, TX where she was a well-loved member for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Galaxy Chapter of the American Businesswomen’s Association. Prior to moving to Dallas, Nancy was a member of Friendswood Church of Christ in Friendswood, TX where she was an active volunteer.

Besides her two children, Nancy is survived by five grandchildren: Matthew, Ella, Sarah, Katy, and Travis; her sister Arlene (Tom), brother Lee (Jackie), several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, June 17th at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery located at 1010 W. Ave. E, Lampasas, TX, with Celebration of Life to follow at First Street Church of Christ at 201 W. 1st Street Lampasas, TX.
