Nancy Edna Mcintire

With great sadness, the family of Nancy Edna “Nane” McIntire announce her passing after a long illness over the past year, on October 15, 2023. Nancy’s strong will, courageous spirit and determination contributed to her zest for living and “beating” life’s odds several times over.
Nancy will be missed by so many including her husband of 54 years, Jerry McIntire, son Bret, grandson Trevor, sister Carolyn and husband Rodney Garrett, brother Tommy Copeland, Jr., brother Gary Wallace, step sister Myla Bloodworth Smith Kling, sister-in-law Laura (McIntire) and husband Wayne Slee, as well as acknowledging many, very special nieces, nephews and cousins whom Nancy loved dearly. Nancy will be missed by her many dear friends … too many to count. And, sadly, Nancy’s precious “fur babies” Smokey and Maya, will miss their lap and snuggle time!
Nancy is preceded in death by father William Wallace of Arizona, mother Daisy Bell, Father/Dad Tommy Copeland and brother William Wallace Jr.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE, OPEN TO ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO WISH TO ATTEND, will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the LUCAS FUNERAL HOME, 1321 PRECINCT LINE ROAD, HURST, TEXAS. A reception will follow in the family gathering area.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the SPCA of Hurst and the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
