Nelda Faye Dunlap

Nelda Dunlap, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away on December 2, 2024; right as the sun was setting. She will always be remembered as a classic beauty with a fun-loving spirit to all that knew and loved her. She was born on May 27, 1943, in Spur, Texas to Velma and Kermit Cunningham. Nelda was a cosmetologist and an interior designer by trade who had a true gift for making things beautiful. She is survived by her two daughters, Kristi Crane of North Richland Hills, Texas and Cynthia Mrozek with husband John Mrozek of Flower Mound, Texas.  Nelda who is better known as Nana or Nej, was also greatly enjoyed by her 6 grandchildren Kara, Jordan, Jeremy, Jonathan, Cole and Ryan along with 3 great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her two adoring sisters, Anita Juren and Charlene Holcomb. The Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 AM on December 28, 2024 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, Texas 76053.
