Nettie Roberts

Nettie Estelle Roberts 78, of Grapevine, passed away peacefully February 18, 2020 with family by her side.
She was born to the late Everett L. & Lilly M. Bruedigam May 4th, 1941, in Travis, Texas. Nettie attended Northwest ISD and later received her Associates Degree to further her career as a Micro Chip inspection supervisor for Texas Instruments from which she retired after several decades of dedicated service.
Nettie is survived by two children: Floyd Schreck, of Grapevine, TX; Gary Roberts & wife Lisa, of Grapevine; Two sisters Janie Walters & husband Andy, of Denton; Joann Wilson & husband Larry, of Haslett. She is also survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Nettie Belinda Schreck and siblings; Bobbie J Bruedigam, E.L. Bruedigam Jr, James E. Bruedigam & H.B. Bruedigam.
Nettie loved the beach and enjoyed experiencing the sand & waves while her health allowed. She loved playing almost any card game and visiting the casino from time to time. Nettie was an avid bowler in her younger days and loved taking her children and friends to the local bowling alley to show off her talent on the lanes.
Visitation & Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, 2pm to 4pm at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, TX. Services will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, TX with burial directly after at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, TX. In lieu of sending flowers, the family ask that you make donations in support of a cancer research of your choice.
