Niki Koutsoufis

Niki (Nikolitsa) Koutsoufis, 80, passed away peacefully Monday, March 17, 2014.
Funeral service 11:30am Friday, St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Burial to follow in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas.
Niki, a native of Larisa, Greece, was born April 1, 1933 to Thomas Binios of Levadia and Dimitra Manolopoulou from Lamia. She lived in Greece during the Nazi occupation of W.W.II. She immigrated to America in 1960, going to Boston to pursue a better life.
She trained as a seamstress in Greece, in the United States she was a hand tool inspector for Easco Hand Tools in Springfield, Massachusetts. She retired and returned to Greece with her husband, Stamatis in 1995 until March 2011. She repatriated to the USA and settled with her family in Dallas/Fort Worth.
She was a member of Agia Triada, Neo Hrakleio in Attikis Greece, Holy Trinity in Dallas, St. George Greek Cathedral in Springfield, Massachusetts and Daughters of Penelope/Philoptochos Society.
She was a beautiful, kind, friendly and social person that touched the lives of many and left positive and lasting impressions on all people she came into contact with.
She loved her son, John; daughter-in-law, Anastasia; grandson, William very much. In addition she is survived by her sister, Lemonia Koufopoulos of Massachusetts.
