Nobuko was born on June 7, 1936 in Kise, Okinawa, Japan, to Keiko and Haruko Higa. She married the love of her life, John F. Trotter, on December 29, 1959 at the American Consulate Unit in Naha, Okinawa, Japan. They moved to Euless, Texas in 1965, where they resided. Nobuko and John became loving parents to three beautiful children, Diana Trotter, Marshall Trotter, Linda Liebbe.
She was a member of the DFW Okinawa Association for many years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and sewing. She was a huge sports fan and loved watching sporting events with her family. Nobuko loved her family and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
Nobuko was preceded by her parents Keiko and Haruko, her brother Kenyu Higa, and her husband John.
She is survived by her sisters Reiko, Kazuko, Michiko, and Shizuko; her children Diana, Marshall, and Linda; her grandchildren Katherine, Sara, and Brayden; and great-granddaughter Saya; and numerous loving family and friends.
