On January 30, 2019, Noel Emory Arnold, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 77 at his home in Bedford, Texas. Noel was born on March 14, 1941 in Attica, Kansas to Emory and Mabel Arnold and was one of ten children. He earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. While working for Kelly Drug in El Dorado, Kansas, he met the love of his life, Margaret Ann Meece. Noel and Margaret were married on August 1, 1965 and were inseparable loving partners for the next 53 years. Noel and Margaret raised two children Jeffrey Morgan Arnold and Kelli Noelle Arnold Courreges. Noel was a doting grandfather to Roman Arnold, Karese Arnold, Danny Courreges, Logan Courreges and Scout Courreges.
Noel touched many lives through his work as a pharmacist in El Dorado, Kansas, Waco, Texas, Denison, Texas and McKinney, Texas. He was a gentle and kind man who loved helping people. Noel was an active member of Martin Methodist Church in Bedford, Texas where he loved worshipping and sharing his love for God.
After his family and his faith, Noel loved watching sports. He was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks but most enjoyed watching his grandchildren play their chosen sports.
Noel was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Ellis and Rex, and his sisters Jewell and Beth. He is survived by his wife, Margaret and his two children, Jeff “Morgan” Arnold and wife Rocki of Little Elm, Texas and Kelli Courreges and husband Dan of Colleyville, Texas. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, 4 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.
A “celebration of life” will be held on Saturday, February 9 at 2:00 pm at Martin Methodist Church, 2621 Bedford Rd, Bedford, TX 76021.
