Nona Marie Salmon Dancer, 89 years. Born June 15, 1931 in Cotton County, Oklahoma to James and Maggie Salmon. Died October 5, 2020.
She met and married her husband of 48 years, Earl W. Dancer, in 1951. She and Earl raised five children. She had twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was a loving mother who was dedicated to her family. She was a tireless supporter of The Foundation for the Retarded and The Salvation Army Angel Tree program. She loved Christmas, her decorations and parties were legend. She loved to give of herself and lived her life in service to others. Her home was open to all and many took shelter and solace there. She impacted the lives of many with her kindness, guidance, and love.
She is survived by her brother Orville Salmon and sister Levena Hillman. Sons Steve Dancer (Angel), Stuart Dancer (April) and daughter Martha Townsend (Steve). Grandchildren: Amanda, Kristin, Bronwyn, Chason, Heather, Will, Rachel, James, Emily, Britton, Amanda, and Bailie. Great Grandchildren: Zaylor, Torin, Greta, Romelie, Coraline, Dub, Henley, Halen, James, Ava, Aubrey, Parker, Wyatt. Also, numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service only on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Klein Memorial Park – Tomball, 32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, TX 77362.
