Nora Ann Guerrero was born on July 27th, 1957 in Kingsville, TX, to parents of Paul and Nellie Guerrero, sibling to 10 others. She grew up in Alice, TX, local schools and graduated from Alice High School class of 1975. It was during these years she developed a strong and independent work ethic for the Alice Echo News in the 1980's.
Shortly after she relocated to Dallas, TX and started working for ITI where she met Juan Espinoza in 1984. In October of 1990 they had their only child, Christopher Espinoza.
While settling in Dallas, Nora and Juan began growing a life together and began making memories. Nora also worked as a ESL teacher for MacArthur High School in Irving, TX, H&R Block as a Customer Service Representative in Dallas, TX.
Nora was a woman of great faith who loved her family dearly. She was considered an honorary wife, mother and grandmother. During her time, she would spend countless days with her 3 grandchildren, husband and son.
Nora loved making creative things such as wreaths and holiday decor while battling cancer and watching sports while her favorite teams were on television such as the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars. Before getting sick she loved to dance and enjoy her time with her beloved friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Nellie, Guerrero, two nephews Dennis Bazan and John Paul Flores.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Juan Ignacio Espinoza, son Christopher Ariel Espinoza and wife Cinthia Cristina Espinoza, 3 grandchildren Damian Eduardo, Ian Romeo and Mia Zoelli Espinoza, six sisters Nori Puig, Naida (Roland) Bazan both of Dallas, TX Norma (Casey) Flores of Corpus Christi, TX, Nelda (Tano) Benavides, Nydia (Oscar) Perez of Alice, TX and Lori (David) Torrez of Manor, TX. Four brothers, Abel Guerrero, Paul (Linda) Guerrero of Dallas, TX, Butch (Thelma) Guerrero and R. David (Barbara) Guerrero of Alice, TX and of course among the nieces, nephews and cousins.
At a later date a memorial mass will be held in Alice, TX.
