Norma Jean Haley Fife

Norma Jean Haley Fife passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at her home in Hurst, Texas on July 18, 2022. Norma was born in Allen, Texas on October 6, 1931 to Hester and Jasper Haley. She graduated from Forest High School in Dallas, Texas in 1949 as salutatorian.
Norma married William Coy Fife in 1949, and together they had two children, Russell William Fife and Darrell Wesley Fife. She worked for HEB ISD for 30+ years in administrative roles supporting various HEB schools and the Superintendent. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and painting. Norma was a proud member and served as president of the HEB ISD Band Boosters. She was also a volunteer for the Hurst Police Department.
Norma is survived by son Russell and his wife Janice Fife, son Darrell and his wife Susan Fife, granddaughters Jessica Fife Atkins, Jennifer Fife, Lauren Fife Armstrong, Kathryn (Katie) Fife, and Sarah Fife Bland, great-grandsons Benedict Armstrong and Theodore Armstrong and sister Bobbie Haley Fincher. She was predeceased by Jasper and Hester Haley, William C. Fife, Fred Young and eight siblings.
No service will be held. We will have a celebration of life this fall.
