HURST -- Norma Jeane Mauldin, 81, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at her home in Hurst.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Lakeside, 8801 Jacksboro Highway, Lakeside. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst.
Jeane was born May 9, 1931, in Cooke County. She married the Rev. Billy Martin Mauldin on Jan. 9, 1948, and enjoyed 64 wonderful years together.
Jeane was a loving wife, mother and Nana, a homemaker, and served as a pastor's wife for over 50 years.
Jeane was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Dee and Ollie Faye Blanks; and her great-granddaughter, Shelbie Lynn Mauldin.
Survivors: Husband, the Rev. Billy Martin Mauldin; son, Mike Glenn Mauldin and wife, Bonnie; daughters, Pat Lynn Marcum and husband, Kirk, and Mary Ann Long and husband, Fred; grandson, Michael Glenn Mauldin II and wife, Brandy; granddaughters, Nicole Wallace and husband, Lyle, Stefanie Pearle and husband, Andrew, Crystal Mauldin, Leslie Wells and husband, Trevor, and Laura Long; great-grandchildren, Michael III, Peyton, Haydn, Emersen Jeane and Kathryn Grace; brother, C.D. Blanks and wife, Viva, of Chico; sister, Edith Cleek of Augusta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
