He was born June 1, 1961 in Mayaquez, Puerto Rico to Pedro Mercado and Hilda Padilla.
He married Myriam Martinez and they were blessed with three children, Pedro Norman, Jessica Marlin, and Alba Iris. Norman served in the U. S. Army and worked as an inventory manager in Oil Field service.
A Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Sunday, January 21 from 4:30 until 8:00 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Hurst. The service will take place from 5:30 until 6:00.
