Sanmi Baiyeri, 25, passed away at Medical City Lewisville on June 21st, 2020. Sanmi was born in Manchester, England on June 3rd, 1995 the last of four boys to Paul Baiyeri and Mary Bello.
Sanmi was a bright light and an incomprehensibly great ball of energy in any room he was in. A statistician with anything sports, his mind was brilliant. From a very young age, his attention to detail came in forms of questions while watching the Lion King, or in his ability to foretell a football play prior to the snap. Oh and sports? He and sports were attached like Siamese twins. He knew every stat of every major sport. He also had the energy for it. Whenever the boys were outside throwing the ball, he would still be out there practicing even after the rest had gone in, eaten, and fell under the spell of the 'itis'. Even with the energy and intelligence, if you ask anyone that knew him, it's his heart they remember the most. He was filled with compassion, kindness, warmth, affection, and most of all love. His heart brought about a friendliness that knew no stranger. His one of a style type of smile and smoothness made it irresistible to want to know him. He had an angelic likeness to him.
We pray for peace that surpasses understanding for your beautiful soul, Sanmi. Though you may be gone in this realm, the aroma of your heart will stay with us and you will not be forgotten.
Sanmi was preceded in death by his immediate older brother, Gbenga 'Tony' Baiyeri.
Sanmi was survived by father, Paul Baiyeri, mother, Mary Bello, brothers Mayowa Baiyeri
and Tolu Baiyeri.
