Owen Douglas Brown passed away on Thursday January 9, 2020. His Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church of Colleyville which is located at 1000 Church St., Colleyville, TX with a reception to follow in the Event Center.

Owen Douglas Brown was born on October 6, 2003 in Grapevine Texas to Paige and Michael Brown. Owen was a sophomore at Colleyville Heritage High School. Prior to high school Owen attended Colleyville Middle School, Colleyville Elementary School and Noah's Ark.
Owen's calm demeanor made him a natural for scuba diving. As an avid diver, he aspired to earn the divemaster designation so he could lead expeditions. Video games were another love. He was a disciplined and committed player. Owen took pride in his schoolwork taking great pains to meet deadlines while demanding high caliber work from himself. He was a thoughtful young man who expected the same from those around him. He loved the outdoors - camping and hiking. He was always helpful and eager to please. Owen had an intelligent, subtle sense of humor -- a dry wit with good delivery. Sometimes you had to be listening carefully to know that he was joking. His smile was infectious and always at the ready. We all love Owen. We will all miss Owen's smile, his laughter and his gentle spirit.
Owen is survived by his parents - Mike and Paige. His brother - Carson. His grandparents - Bonnie Katt, Carol and Windel Harvey. In addition he has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
