Owen Donovan Romero

Owen Romero, 21, passed away June 26, 2022 at John Peter Smith Hospital, Ft. Worth, Texas. A visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Avenue, in Burleson
Owen was born November 13, 2000 in Cleburne to Martin and Cheryl Romero. He grew up in Burleson and graduated from Centennial High School in 2019. After high school, he worked at Wintergreen Synthetic Grass and the City of Alvarado.
He joined the Marines in March of 2022 and achieved the rank of Private.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Indalecio Romero and Consuelo Ortiz; uncle, John Riley; and cousin, Jesse Price.
He is survived by his parents, Martin and Cheryl Romero; sister, Nichole Romero; grandparents, Calvin and JoAnn Riley; aunts, Carol Riley, Carrie Price, Diana Riley, Angeles Romero, Flor Romero, Ada Sanchez Jimenez, and Susana Bernal; uncles, Faustino Pacheco, Marco Antonio Romero, Jorge Sanchez, and Miguel Ortiz; and his beloved cousins.
