Patricia Lopez Bryant

It is with great sadness the family of Patricia Lopez Bryant, 84, announce her passing early Friday morning, July 28, 2023 following a valiant fight with Alzheimer’s disease. Patricia was born in Zwolle, Louisiana and spent most of her life in the Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana area.

Throughout her illness, Patricia continued to inspire others with her positive outlook in joyful anticipation of Heaven. Prior to her failing health Patricia enjoyed outings with her friends and family members as well as visiting family scattered across the globe. She was also active in her local church.

During the later months of her illness, Patricia enjoyed watching the Gaither Family channel on television and loved reading anything that brought her closer to God. More than anything else her heart’s desire was for others to have a saving relationship with Christ.

Patricia is predeceased by her parents Ed and Julia Lopez and siblings Garvis Joy, Anthony, Leamon, and Gerald.

Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her children Sheri Aaron, Gerald Weems, James Weems, Ronald Weems and Brad (Dana) Reeves as well as her 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild.

Patricia was a mighty prayer warrior that will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to join in Patricia’s memorial celebration of life service on August 12th at 2:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 S Main St., Keller, TX, 76248. In the spirit of celebration the service will be informal. The family request attendees feel free to wear business casual clothing. Uplifting celebratory colors welcomed.
