Patricia Ann Cichon (Crosse) died on July 15 after complications from surgery for an ongoing illness. Pat was 88.
Pat was born on January 31, 1933 to Joseph and Marjorie Crosse. A proud Chicagoan, Pat loved travel, dance, and all things Irish. She was a successful businesswoman. She enjoyed bingo and announced that her 87th birthday at Casino Night at Good Shepherd Catholic Community was the best ever. She was a devout Catholic.
Pat is survived by her sister, Helen Kiessling and her daughter, Marjorie Zielke (Rodney). She is preceded to the Lord by her mother and father; husband, Robert J. Cichon, Sr.; and sons, Robert J. Cichon, Jr., and Patrick Thomas Cichon. Also preceding her are 10 brothers and sisters: Robert, Elizabeth (Betty), William, George, Joseph, Mary, Thomas, John, Margaret (Rita), and James. Aunt Pat was loved by her numerous nephews and nieces and grand nephews and nieces who kept in contact throughout her life -- including her final days. This thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated.
She cheered her daughter on at horse shows and banquets and loved her fur grandbabies Scottie, Zeke, Luke, Seth, and Gracie. She also loved her grandchildren Tiff and Patrick.
She will be remembered for her support, kindness, generosity, and selflessness until her final hour. Donations in Pat’s name can be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue in Waco, Texas ( fuzzyfriendsrescue.com ). Funeral and interment plans pending.
