It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Horn (Osborne), a cherished resident of Granbury, who peacefully departed on October 13, 2024, in Fort Worth at the age of 80 years. Born on August 26, 1944, in Forestburg, TX, Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her spirited personality and unwavering love for her family.
Patricia, fondly called “Nana Banana” by her grandchildren, will be forever remembered for her warmth and kindness. She found joy in gardening, fishing, and playing her beloved 31 card game. Her home was always adorned with holiday decorations, reflective of her festive spirit and love for celebrations. Patricia's faith in The Lord was unwavering, and she dedicated herself to serving in her local church for many years.
She leaves behind her daughters Tammy Goode and Misty Burden, granddaughter Erin Simons, grandsons Marc Miller and Corby Burden, great-granddaughters Ava O'Banion and Arabella Miller, as well as a host of extended family members and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Preston Horn, her sister Nancy Carrington, and her son John Dewayne Shatswell.
The family will be holding a series of services to honor and celebrate Patricia's remarkable life. A Funeral Service at Lucas Funeral Home on October 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Prior to the funeral, a Public Viewing will also be held at Lucas Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on the same day. Patricia will be laid to rest at Glenwood Cemetery following the funeral.
In her passing, Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. May she rest in eternal peace and continue to watch over her beloved family from above.
