Patricia Ann Johnson

Surrounded by her family, Patricia Ann Johnson, 81 of Amarillo, Texas passed Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00pm Saturday evening at the funeral home.  We welcome all that knew and loved her to join her Funeral Services that will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, November 10th at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 S Main St, Keller, Tx 76248.   Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, November 11th at Memory Gardens of Amarillo, 14200 I-27, Amarillo, Tx 79119. 

Patricia was born on September 8, 1943, in Ozona, Texas. After Hurricane Alice hit Ozona in 1954 her parents moved to Odessa, TX. Where she met the love of her life Paul William Johnson, they married in December of 1959. Soon after that they built their own family: Jerry Don, Deedra Lynn and Tonya Lea. She was a full-hearted supporter of her family’s desire for racing motorcycles and spending time at the lake. She also enjoyed playing pool. She took pride in gardening such as growing vegetables and she could pull off any hat under the sun. She was talented in crafts, sewing, macramé and adult detailed coloring. When she wasn’t with family or friends, she enjoyed playing the slots and cuddling her dog, Scooter. Once the grandbabies were born, she seamlessly fell right into place and spoiled her eight grandchildren, taking them on summer vacations and much more. She was full of life and was the life of the party in every room she stepped foot in. She was most determined not to grow old and she really never did.

She was preceded by her parents, Mark and Arvi Lee Corbell; brother Mark Corbell.

Survivors include a son Jerry D Johnson and wife Martha of Canyon, two daughters Deedra Trammell of Waxahachie and Tonya and husband Todd Beck of Fort Worth. Eight grandchildren that loved her dearly and eighteen great grandchildren that were an enormous joy for her.
