October 12, 1946 — February 2, 2017

Patricia Knox, 70, returned to her Lord on Thursday, February 2, 2017.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, February 7, at 10:00 AM at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Viewing will be held for family and friends at Lucas Funeral Home, Monday, February 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Pat was born in East Orange, NJ, where she met her husband, Frank, on a blind date; she married him a year later. After her three children were born, the family moved to Raleigh, NC where they lived for five years. She moved again with the family in 1984 to Bedford, TX, where she spent the last 32 years of her life. She thoroughly enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting as well as making things for others; she was an active member of the Bedford Senior Center and was there every Tuesday morning working on crafts with her friends. She served almost 30 years as a volunteer in the City of Bedford Fire and Police Departments (Citizen’s Fire Academy, Animal Control and most recently as volunteer in the City Court). She also held an amateur radio Technician Class license (K2ILD). She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Whitney and her identical twin Sister, Pegg Goehring. She was loved and will be missed by all.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Frank; son Kevin Knox and his wife Coleen, daughter Patti Little and her husband David, son Cristopher Knox and his wife Melissa; grandchildren David, Victoria and Jacob Little, Whitney Knox and Oliva and Miranda Knox; great grandchildren Zoey Little and Ashtynn Harmon; and Bear and Harley Knox.
