Patricia “Pat” Nimmo Riddle joined her Savior Jesus Christ on January 5, 2018.
Graveside service: 3:00 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine.
Pat was born Sep. 8, 1927, in Cresson, TX to Harvey Pringle and Jimmie Ruth Nimmo. Pat lived a wonderfully happy life, loving her family, friends and her Lord. Pat knew no strangers! She, along with her husband of over 70 years, George, were charter members of The Richland Hills Church of Christ (The Hills). After graduating with honors from UTA at the age of 54, she began her long-term career with the Star Telegram, officially retiring in 1995, but continuing to produce a weekly column until after her 80th birthday. She loved writing about people because every person has a unique story and it is most rewarding giving people their “10 minutes of fame.”
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, George Raymond Riddle, parents, Harvey Pringle and Jimmie Ruth Nimmo, sister, Florene Stevens, grandsons, Haley G. Howard and Casey Wright.
