Patricia Ann Pawson Van Verst

Patricia Ann Pawson Van Verst, 88 of Hurst, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 in Bedford. She was born to the late William and Lucy Pruett Pawson on February 1, 1936 in Keokuk, Iowa.

Patricia loved animals of all kinds, especially her dogs, cats, and her horses. She loved camping with Dave in their RV and spending summers in Fun Valley, Colorado. She was a very good dancer and loved square and round dancing, as well as horseback riding, bowling, birdwatching, and gardening.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Studley, and her husband, Rick, Amy Hart, and her husband, Tim, and Linda Thurston, and her husband, Tim; 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren; she is also survived by her sister, Janette Schmitz.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, David Van Verst in 2001.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
