Patricia Ann Flanagan Vester

Patricia Ann Flanagan Vester was born December 19, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed away December 30, 2015 in Grapevine, Texas at the age of 72.

Pat was an avid gardener who could bring the worst looking flowers back from the brink, to be the most beautiful blooms you have ever seen. She was a remarkable cook whose fried chicken was legendary. Her sharp wit was hard to match and her crossword puzzle skill was something to see. But above all, she loved nothing more than spending time with her large family.

She is survived by her three sons, Philip W. Vester, Jr. and his wife Amy; Patrick Vester; and Christopher Vester and his wife Jennifer. She leaves behind five granddaughters, Courtney Elizabeth, Kaylee, Courtney Lyn, Lauren and Meghan; and two great grandsons, Lucas and Andrew. Her surviving siblings are Bobby, Moreine, Mareine, Jerry, and Sue. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Philip, Sr.

Pat was laid to rest after a graveside service Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, Texas.
