Patsy Ruth Brown

It is with profound sadness that the family of Patsy Ruth Bennett Brown announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the age of 95.

Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Memorial Park, 2301 N. Sylvania Ave., Fort Worth. Visitation: One hour prior to graveside service.

Memorials: The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation in Pat’s memory to the Second Chance SPCA, 1700 J Ave., Plano, Texas 75074.

Pat was a teacher throughout Texas and retired at the age of 84 from Plano Senior High School after 51 years of teaching biology and chemistry.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, Cordell H.; son, Cordell W.; parents, Homer and Bessie Silvey Bennett; and sister, Ouida Finley.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Sandra Kay Brown; grandchildren, Diane, Mica, Dwayne and Tricia; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; niece, Cheryl; and nephews, Mark, David and Kevin; and numerous friends.
