Patsy "Pat" A. Bender

Patsy A. Bender 79 passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at home with her family by her side. She will always be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend, to all that knew and loved her.

Patsy was born in New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Pensacola Catholic HS, and after high school she worked as a secretary for a law firm then for her Dad’s Office Machine Company. After meeting her true love Richard Bender USMC pilot & later American Airlines pilot she was Manager of Shelingham Tennis & Swim Club. Patsy’s number one hobby was Tennis. She also enjoyed with her family and friends racing sailboats as a member of GSC.

Survivors: Her loving Husband of 52 years Richard Bender, Son, Michael Bender and Wife, Codie Bender, Daughter, Patty Bender Crim and Husband, David Crim. Grand children Annie and Clair Grim and numerous family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Patsy's honor to Catholic Charities.
