Paul K. Benyo
April 2, 1935 — January 22, 2020
Paul Kenneth Benyo of Keller, Texas (former resident of Belleville, MI), peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. He will always be remembered as a loving Dad, proud Papa, brother, uncle, cousin and good friend to all who knew and loved him. He was born April 2, 1935 in Detroit, MI to Paul and Julia Benyo.
Ken (as he was called by family) served in the Navy during the Korean War, retired as a Lieutenant for the Wayne County Sheriff's Department, and was able to enjoy an early retirement "as a snowbird" in Florida for many years.
Ken is survived by:
his daughters: Renee Sutherland and husband, Mike, Denise Visingardi and husband, John, and Michelle Adamson and husband, Jim.
Ken's 8 grandchildren: Sarah (Sean) Gerrity, Rick Sutherland, Dominic (Elise) Visingardi, Gina Visingardi, Kenny (Carmen) Adamson, Brian (Macy) Adamson, Ben Adamson and Katherine Adamson
Ken's great grandchildren: Dylan and Elliott Gerrity
Ken's brothers and sisters: Bruce (Jacqueline) Benyo, Andrew (Lynn) Benyo, Margaret (Richard) Major,and Julieann (William) Cherry
and he is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Julia Benyo, his wife, Rita, his brothers and sister Joseph Benyo, Mary Duff, and Terry Benyo.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Michigan.
