Paul David Hensley, age 86, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at approximately 10:30 am, after a brief illness in the hospital.
Memorial Services are at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas at 700 W. Wall Street, on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Paul was buried earlier at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery for Veterans.
Paul grew up in Oklahoma, the son of a Minister and a loving Mother with five siblings, all of whom preceded him in death. Paul was taught the “true values” of being a Christian and “giving back”, which he showed throughout his entire life with his compassion for others.
Paul served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He attended Oklahoma A&M College in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, where he studied to become an electrician, which he worked as until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margie, of sixty plus years; one son, David Scott, and a beautiful daughter-in-law, Jennifer of Southlake, TX; two wonderful grandchildren, Zachary Daniel of Colorado Springs, CO, and Madison Nicole of Ft. Worth, TX, both of whom he adored greatly; plus a wonderful extended family in Oklahoma.
