Paul Lehmann

January 26, 1931 — April 24, 2020

Rev. Paul Lehmann

Paul Lehmann was born on January 26, 1931 in Trinidad, Washington. On July 26, 1952 he married Nola Faith (Wilting) Lehmann in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1955 he graduated from Nyack Missionary College (now Nyack College) and began ministry as a Christian and Missionary Alliance Church ordained minister.

Paul and Nola served in CMA churches in Salt Lake City, Utah; Cutler, California; Frazeysburg, Ohio; Danville, Indiana; Anderson, Indiana; Tucson, Arizona; and Bernie, Missouri. At Town and Country Manor in Santa Ana, California Paul was the chaplain for seven years. Paul and Nola served as managers at the Alliance Guest House in Jerusalem from 1994-1995. Paul died in Huntley, Illinois on April 24, 2020 of complications from melanoma.

In retirement Paul continued to serve the Lord by leading services in retirement centers and nursing homes, leading Bible studies and through Crossroads Prison Ministries. Paul’s final years were spent peacefully at his home, Eastgate Manor, in Algonquin, Illinois. Laughter, enthusiastically watching sports, gardening and dramatically recounting sermons he enjoyed were all highlights of Paul’s life. He recently reminded his family that in his Biblical studies he was blessed to know that Revelation shows heaven is a “prepared place for a prepared people.”

Paul was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Nola, his parents, Herman Jakob and Katharina (Biehn) Lehmann and brother, Hugo Erick Lehmann.
