Paul James McDonald, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 2, 2016.
Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless.
Paul was born February 25, 1925, in Fort Worth, to Hubert Paul and Myrtle Vivian Baker McDonald. He
served as a radio operator in the Army Air Corps during World War II in England, France and Belgium. He worked as a masonry contractor most of his life taking over the business after his father retired. Many of the homes in the Forest Park area of Fort Worth were built by them. He worked for Harcourt book publishers in his later years not retiring completely until his early 70’s. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-¬grandfather. His life was his grandkids and great-¬grandkids. He was dearly loved by his extended family at Silver Ridge Assisted Living. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bettie McDonald in 1996.
Survivors: Daughter, Lenda Curtis and husband, Ron; granddaughter’s, Cayce Vega and husband Daniel,
Kimberly Estes and husband Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Estes, Noah Estes, and Amelia Vega; And many other loving family members and friends.
