Paula Anne Adams, 73, of Bedford, Texas, passed away December 25, 2020 after a brief illness.
She was born in Dallas, Texas on November 6, 1947. Paula was married to Gary David Adams for 53 wonderful years. She devoted her professional career to serving students with disabilities, particularly those with emotional/behavioral disorders. She retired from her position as an Educational Diagnostician in 2010.
Paula was a voracious reader and enjoyed spending time with her loving husband and family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thelma and Louis Rhodes, and her mother, Mildred Rhodes Mayabb.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Adams, daughter Heather Brister and husband Timothy Brister, and son Christopher Adams and wife Crystal Adams. She has 8 grandchildren – Paige, Hayden, Asher, Trinity, Hunter, Nathaniel, Noah, and Jordan – who will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 9, 2021 at 3575 Lakota Trail, McKinney, TX 75070 from 4:00 – 6:00. The Celebration will be come-and-go.
