Peggy Joyce Smith

Peggy Joyce Smith, 75 years,old, of Grapevine Tx, passed away on Thursday July 23, 2020 at Seasons hospice in Dallas Tx. After her valiant fight with COPD for five years, COVID19 took her life without fear. She loved to live her life to the fullest and lived her life the way she wanted, no if, ands or buts about it.
Peggy was born on March 25, 1945 in Lyons Georgia to Lum and Gladys Westberry. Employed by Coppell ISD child Nutrition and Crossing Guard. After retiring she took care of several children who she loved. She loved going to Church, loved God, spending time with family, and raising several pomeranians and birds.
Survived by her two brothers Alvin Westberry (Sandy Bell) and Timothy Jerome Westberry (Janet). Children Teresa Diane Closs, Joy Lynn Rager (Dave), and Kenneth Warren Guinn (Amy).
Loving Grandma to William Shawn Smith (Michelle), Joyce Jean Pyatt (Douglas), Wendy Lynn Rager, Sarah Evelyn Guinn, Rachel Nicole Guinn and Tracey Carlton who passed away in 2005. Great Grandchildren include Katy Smith, Kimberly Smith, Emily Smith, Johnathan Smith, Robert Eugene Pyatt, and Zackary Guinn Pyatt. She was grandma to so many besides her own. Thank you for being an amazing Grandma
