Penny Sue Cadenhead

Penny Sue (Payton) Cadenhead, 63 passed away in the early hours of May 24, 2024 following a gradual decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. Penny was born in Grand Prairie TX on January 2, 1961 and lived her entire life in the Dallas area, however her love of travel allowed her to visit extraordinary places with her granddaughter whom she raised, Payge. She was a Private Investigator for NightHawk Investigations Inc displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems. Penny was a strong willed, independent and fiercely protective woman and will be profoundly missed by those whom she loved and those who loved her.


Penny is survived by her Husband; Tommy Cadenhead of Hutchins Tx, Mother and stepfather; Warren and Doris French of Rose Hill, KS , Father and stepmother; Gerald D. Payton and Anita Jones of Arlington TX, Two Children; Bradley Payton of Dallas Tx and Amanda Payton of Dallas Tx, Grandchildren ; Payge M Payton of Hutchins Tx, Britney Patton, Mario A Cerrillo III, and Nariyah Payton all of Dallas Tx, Sister; Tammie L French of Rose Hill, Ks and Step Sister; Cavell Crader of Grandview Tx, Brothers; Christopher N French of Rose Hill, Ks and Jarid S Payton of Euless, Tx. Her step daughter Megan Cadenhead of Dallas Tx, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.


She is preceded in death by her Grandmother Doris Evelyn Goleman and her husband Henry. Two brothers; Dale A. Payton and Tony W. French of Cleburne Tx


The Family will have a private celebration of life in keeping with Pennys wishes.
