Peter Joseph Mais, Iii

On Tuesday, December 25th, Pete Mais, also known by those he taught and coached as “Coach Mais” passed away at the age of 76.
Arrangements were entrusted to Lucas Funeral Home and graveside service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville on Monday at 1:30p.
Born in San Diego, CA in 1942, Pete spent his youth in Indiana, avidly playing and excelling in all sports with a love of basketball, swimming, as well as track and field. He was an AAU athlete and played basketball at Texas Wesleyan University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Though retired, he treasured his years coaching, his students, History, fishing, hunting, and of course his family.
SURVIVORS: Loving wife of 54 years, Georgene; children, Shane and Lesli; sibling, Lynette Hobbs; daughter-in-law Lisa; son-in-law, Trae Fowler; 3 grandchildren, Michaela and Zack Mais and Jack Hayes Fowler; along with other loved cousins, nieces, nephew and relatives.
