Philip Raymond McGuire, 81, passed away May 13, 2021 at Burleson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Lucas & Blessing

Philip was born January 20, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas to John Emmett and Edith (Rook) McGuire. He grew up in Little Rock and graduated from Central High School in 1957. After high school, he joined the Marine Reserves and served for 6 years. He was honorably discharged in 1963. Philip owned Ace Rental in Little Rock for 30 years.
He loved golf and was a member of several country clubs. Motorcycling was a passion that he passed on to his children and his grandchildren.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents, John Emmett and Edith McGuire.
He is survived by his sons, Jay McGuire and wife, Fran and Scott McGuire and wife, Edith; brother, Donald McGuire; grandchildren, Matthew, Molly, Victoria, and Ian; great-grandchildren, Colt and Reagan; and his nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church building fund.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Burleson Nursing and Rehabilitation, Heart to Heart Hospice, and Oak Grove Baptist Church.
