Phylis Joy Spalding

Phylis Joy Spalding, 81, of North Richland Hills, passed away on September 5, 2020.
She was born on February 2, 1939, in New York, NY. She was the youngest of 3 daughters born to Freda and Philip Clarke. She married Theodore Spalding on January 16, 1972 in Babylon, NY. They relocated to Dothan, AL and then to Denison, TX before Phylis moved to North Richland Hills, TX. She was a loving, wife and mother who cherished family and church and made friends wherever she was. She was very fond of dogs as few days in her life went by without one. She enjoyed crafts, reading and baking.
Phylis was preceded in death by her loving husband, Theodore, two sisters, 3 children, and 1 grandchild.
She is survived by sons, James McEnerney and wife Susan; Adam Spalding; Clifford Spalding and wife Aileen; daughter, Allison Barker and husband Les; niece, Sharon O’Connor and husband John; 4 grandsons and many friends who brought her great joy in her final days.
