Phyllis Jane Elliott

Phyllis Jane Elliott, born on October 28th, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas, to Phillip Leroy Wiedeman and Betty Jane Wiedeman, peacefully departed this life on May 7th, 2024, and is now at rest with Jesus.

Phyllis spent her formative years in West Memphis, Arkansas, where she attended West Memphis Senior High School. It was during this time that she crossed paths with the love of her life, Michael Elliott Sr., whom she married on November 15, 1969. Together, they shared 54 beautiful years of marriage, blessed with two loving children and three adored grandchildren. Phyllis cherished her family above all else, infusing her home with boundless love and joy. Her passion for music was infectious, and she delighted in sharing her favorite tunes, turning up the volume as high as the radio would allow.

Phyllis is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Elliott Sr., her loving children, Michael Elliott Jr. (Lauren Elliott) and Sarah Elliott, her cherished grandchildren, Brady Elliott, Brooke Wiley (Justin Wiley), and Makenna Elliott, as well as her beloved sister, Linda Connery (Scott Connery).

A viewing to honor Phyllis's life will be held on Monday, May 13th, at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, TX, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a cause close to Phyllis's heart.
